Move Forward with Confidence, Clarity, and Support

Supervised Parenting Time

Drivers License Reinstatement Assessments

Substance Abuse Evaluation

Journies continues to provide supervised visitation services for parents and loved ones, facilitating interactions with minor children under third-party supervision. Since our inception in 2005, the program has experienced consistent growth. Our collaborative ties with Kent County Friend of the Court and referrals from various sources, including other agencies, courts, private parties, and attorneys, underscore our commitment to comprehensive support.

Supervised visitation services are available in Grand Rapids only. Visits are held in a safe, child-friendly environment, with compassionate staff support and a strict no-contact policy enforced at all times.

The fee structure is as follows:

  • $75.00 per hour for visitation
  • Court reports start at $80.00
  • $85.00 per hour, per person, and per court testimony
  • $30.00 per correspondence

Please note that late attendance incurs a charge of $0.50 per minute, and our visits start and stop 5 minutes to the hour to allow for a buffer between visits.

Visitation hours are:

Monday - Friday 12-8 pm

 Saturday 9-5 pm

Supervised Custody Exchanges
A custody exchange occurs when one parent transfers the child to the other. If parents are unable to do this calmly or safely, supervised exchanges—also known as monitored or safe exchanges—may be necessary. In these cases, a neutral third party is present to ensure the handoff is peaceful and secure.

Cost: $20.00 per exchange
