First Offenders

Automobile Highway Safety Education


This five-hour educational group is conducted over two sessions within the same week at the beginning of each month. Alternatively, it is offered as a single five-hour session every two months. Tailored for first-time offenders with a lower tolerance to alcohol/drugs, the program provides foundational education with a primary emphasis on alcohol, complemented by information on other substances. Following the completion of the First Offenders Group requirements, a letter of completion is promptly sent to the referring source.

Crossroads

This specialized group is tailored for clients with one or two offenses who require more than a basic educational program. It convenes twice weekly over a 4-week duration, with flexible 

scheduling available during both daytime and evening hours. The curriculum encompasses comprehensive alcohol and drug education, relapse prevention education, and an in-depth exploration of the disease concept, providing participants with a thorough understanding and tools for sustained recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Program

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a comprehensive and flexible therapeutic intervention designed for individuals seeking intensive mental health or substance use disorder treatment, and it spans a duration of 16 weeks. Developed to provide robust care without the constraints of inpatient settings, the program accommodates busy schedules while offering a structured and multifaceted approach to treatment. Participants engage in various therapeutic sessions, including individual counseling, group therapy, and psycho-education, addressing the underlying factors contributing to their challenges. The IOP emphasizes a holistic and individualized treatment model, empowering participants to integrate coping strategies into their daily lives. It fosters a supportive community environment conducive to lasting recovery.

Journies Victim Impact Panel

Journies Victim Impact Panel offers both quarterly in-person sessions and online options to meet a range of participant needs. We are also currently offering individual appointments conducted in Spanish. In-person sessions provide a dynamic, face-to-face environment that encourages meaningful engagement with facilitators and peers, while online sessions offer accessible and flexible participation. Led by skilled facilitators, the panel incorporates interactive elements such as guided discussions, personal testimonies, and multimedia presentations to deepen understanding and foster reflection. Whether attending in person or virtually, participants can expect an immersive experience designed to promote empathy, accountability, and positive behavior change.

Impulse Control

Struggling with destructive impulses can lead to harmful behaviors and fractured relationships. Our one-day Impulse Control Group at Journeys Inc., running from 5-8 PM for $100, offers specialized support in a safe environment with professional and peer guidance. We help you identify triggers, process emotions healthily, and replace harmful behaviors with positive actions. Additionally, we cover building healthy relationships, managing intrusive thoughts, effective communication, and dealing with negative emotions. Gain enhanced self-awareness, self-esteem, and control while learning from peers and exploring the roots of your impulses. Retail Fraud

One day group for first offenders, eight sessions for habitual offenders (or four one-on-one sessions will be offered if the class does not reach its full capacity).

Recognizing the challenges individuals face in this sector, our new Retail Fraud Group is dedicated to addressing issues related to retail fraud, larceny, embezzlement, and the like. This service aims to intercede and support those personal challenges in this context.

Crossroads group plus four one-on-one sessions in anger management.

Our Relapse Prevention Group offers a supportive, in-person space to build a personalized recovery plan, strengthen coping skills, and manage real-life triggers. Using evidence-based approaches—such as cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and stress-management—participants learn practical tools for maintaining long-term sobriety.


As part of our Enhanced Recovery Program, we also engage in community outings and wellness activities that promote connection, joy, and sober living. These shared experiences help participants build meaningful relationships, discover new interests, and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Our Women’s Support Group provides a welcoming, confidential space for women of all backgrounds to connect, reflect, and grow together. This group is designed for women seeking support around addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and healthier ways of living within a structured and supportive community.


Through guided discussions, therapeutic activities, and intentional group work, participants explore topics such as stress management, self-esteem, healthy relationships, emotional regulation, and personal growth. The group emphasizes consistency, accountability, and mutual support as essential components of the healing process.
